Who wants to cook?

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need to serve a simple meal, a banquet or a takeaway. All the crockery, cutlery, glassware and pots and pans are there. The appliances make life easy like the oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is also a kettle for tea in the morning or a coffee maker if you prefer. Unlike some rental homes there is plenty of space in the kitchen - so everyone can give a hand. we have also added some bar stools for a quick bite - or to turn that counter into your home office - take your laptop and always be connected - FREE wi-fi.

Lets be together

The great room is the main reason we chose this house as it makes for a very sociable atmosphere. Who wants to be alone in the kitchen when everyone else is sitting watching cable TV, a DVD or playing with the X Box?

Fun in the sun

The pool area is surrounded by a screen to keep away the bugs. There is an outside shower. The pool can be heated in the winter months by paying a supplement. It has a safety net which has to be in place by Florida law if you have children in your party. We want your holiday to be safe. We have also added a solar pool blanket to keep the heat in the pool overnight and a roller to make it easy to get in and out of the pool. We recommend you cover the pool when you are not using it to conserve your heat- but please be aware it is not load bearing. Please note the solar blanket is not used during the summer. We have a heat exchanger to heat the pool so it does not work in low temperatures, but in practice we find that it heats the pool most days- please be aware that the pool cools overnight even with the solar blanket. If you are going to be out at the parks each day it may be wasteful of your money and energy resources to have pool heat, but if like a lot of people you have days in between you may opt to have heat. Pool heat may be needed from October to April.

NEW - an extended pool deck. We think you can have the best of both worlds with our new deck with its extended area to sunbathe all day - but if you prefer the shade or you have little ones who need protection you can cool off under the lovely lanai. South facing pools can often be in the harsh Florida sun all day with no escape - some people end up spending their time inside to cool down.
Barbeque - If you like to dine and cook outside why not use the barbeque we provide for guest use? This is an electric model so no danger of running out of gas or having to light charcoal.

Pool at night

Bubble Bubble

The spa pool adds that little bit of luxury and is great for conversations. The waterfall from the spa to the pool also makes a wonderfully relaxing sound. It's a great place to discuss the day and relax away those aching feet. It is easily operated by the switch in the pool area - which diverts all the water and pool heat if on to the spa area - please note this is on a timer switch so that the spa is not left on continuously which could affect the water quality of the pool itself.

All covered up

The solar cover is great at keeping the heat in the pool - particularly overnight if the temperature drops. Used in the winter when you do not want the heat to escape. It also helps to warm the pool by using the rays of the sun to warm the water at other times. The roller at one end makes it easy to put on and remove the cover.

The lanai

The lanai is a traditional floridian touch - a covered area in which to get away from the heat of the sun. Remember it can get very HOT. It has a table, chairs and loungers. There is a ceiling fan and light so you can dine out in the evening and listen to the crickets or why not have your breakfast out by the pool and watch the local wildlife. We have seen many native birds - particulaly egrets. There is also a socket conveniently placed so you can plug in your laptop and with the wi-fi answer your emails, find out places to go, make reservations. Sitting at the computer will never be the same again!

Master bedroom

The master bedroom is huge and has a king size bed. It also has a large walk in closet on the way to the master bathroom. Like all the bedrooms it has it's own cable TV so you can get away from everyone if you want. It also has direct access to the pool area. Just imagine waking up to the view of the pool and spa.

Smile

The master bathroom is fit for a star. There is a huge walk in shower, corner bath and his and hers sinks. There is a separate toilet. The mirrors and lights make you feel something special. There is also a hairdryer provided. Remember all the towels are provided but we ask you do not take these out of the villa.

Queen bedroom

The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and is adjacent to the other bathroom so it might as well be en-suite. The tropical theme is continued in the bedcovers and specially selected art work.

One for the girls?

The first of the twin bedrooms has flamingos on the bedcovers and light wood furniture. It is linked to the second twin by a Jack & Jill bathroom which makes the house ideal for sharers.
Picture Gallery & Virtual Tour #14

One for the boys?

The second twin is more masculine with blue tartan on the bedcovers and darker furniture. Its adjoining bathroom is also thoughtfully divided so that more than one person can get ready at the same time
